Your content never leaves your device

Every tool on removeclaudewatermark.online — the character cleaner, the watermark rewriter, the image metadata remover — runs as JavaScript in your browser. There is no backend that receives your content, no upload and no API call. What you paste stays in your browser's memory and is discarded when you close the tab. You can verify this by disconnecting from the internet: the tools keep working.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people find useful. It is loaded with Google Consent Mode set to denied by default, so no analytics cookie is written and no measurement occurs until you choose Accept. Choosing Reject leaves it denied and nothing is collected beyond the server logs described below.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies that record:

• Pages visited on this site, and how long you spent on them
• Approximate location, derived from a truncated IP address
• Device, browser and operating system
• The referring site or search engine that sent you here

IP anonymisation is enabled, and advertising signals (ad storage, ad personalisation and ad user data) are permanently denied — this site runs no advertising and does not build advertising profiles. Google acts as our data processor; see Google's privacy policy.

We also use Google Search Console, which reports the search queries that led people to this site. It works from Google's own search data, sets no cookies on this site, and shows us aggregate figures only — never anything identifying an individual.

One further item is stored locally: a small entry in your browser's localStorage recording your cookie choice, so we do not ask again on every page. It is not a cookie, is never transmitted, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Changing your mind

Clear this site's data in your browser settings and the banner appears again on your next visit, letting you choose differently. You can also block cookies for this domain entirely — the tools are unaffected, because they never needed them.

What we never collect

• The text or images you process — these never reach a server
• Accounts, names, email addresses or passwords — there is no sign-up
• Advertising or cross-site tracking identifiers
• Anything at all, if you press Reject

Server logs

Our host, Cloudflare, records standard request logs — IP address, user agent, path and timestamp — for security, abuse prevention and reliability. These are retained briefly, are not used to build a profile of you, and cannot be linked to content you processed, because that content never reaches the server. This processing rests on our legitimate interest in keeping the service available and secure.

Your rights

If you are in the UK, EU or another region with comparable law, you have the right to access, correct, export or erase personal data we hold, to object to processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. In practice we hold very little: analytics data only if you accepted, and short-lived server logs. Write to privacy@removeclaudewatermark.online and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
